Book Review: The Nanny Diaries

Quite a few years ago I picked up The Nanny Diaries by Emma Mclaughlin, Nicola Kraus, and enjoyed it immensely (despite crying my heart out at the end). I fell in love with Nan and Grayer and grew to hate Mr and Mrs X. I was rooting for some kind of fairytale miracle to happen that would make everyone’s lives infinitely better. Of course being a mostly realistic novel, this didn’t happen. In fact no one really received a happily ever after.
